Marguerite Batsale defended her thesis on the elongation of Very Long Chain Fatty Acids in plants, supervised by Jérôme Joubès and Frédéric Domergue.This work was evaluated by Sébastien Baud (CNRS, Versailles), Rochus Franke (University of Bonn), Florences Bordes (INSA, Toulouse) and Laure Beven (Université de Bordeaux). «

Delphine Bahammou defended her thesis work, entitled « Etude des lipides de la membrane plasmique d’arabidopsis thaliana » directed by Sébastien Mongrand and Laetitia Fouillen. The summer drink of the LBM took place on Monday, this drink allows us to celebrate a first semester well filled before perhaps some well deserved summer vacations.

We participated Friday, June 24th at the first general meeting of the Grand Programme de Recherche Bordeaux Plant Science in which the LBM is strongly involved. A morning of presentations and discussions within our plant science community.
